Camber Adjustment After Lowering?

Quick question for you chaps in the know:

I've had my 'rolla lowered by 30 mm on TTE springs, and I know I've got to get the aligning sorted out.

With that in mind I rang a chap up in Stevenage, and after telling my story he said I'd have to get the camber re-adjusted professionally by some chap in North London, otherwise the settings would never be correct.

Is this advice sound? Afaik I had to do the alignment only, and if I'm feeling generous do the balancing as well, but camber as well?

If so this is not as easy as I had imagined.... or are the chaps that lower their chariots hoofing around with incorrect camber settings?

You will need a full wheel alignement which includes the camber setting

From past experience with TTE on celica its the rear camber thats most affected

The settings are the same as normal but when you have the springs in & out the camber is normally a mile out

Ah okee, so it's the full whammy then. Not a bad idea to get it done anyway.

What you need to ask for is a full geometric check.

A full geometry is a must!

you'll probably need a camber correction kit too .. as a lot of modern cars can't be adjusted for this.
