i really need to know...

do i connect the power cables to the blue connector? (trying to figure out what color is what).. or the white connector that cfonnects to the display itslef?

(im talkiong bout the HU cables)

where do i get power from? was i right guessing that grey is the positive (red) ?

i dont use the Halfords adapter as i only need 3 wires.

positive,negative and permanent positive.

anyone got the schemes?

wire 4 = always approx 12 volts

wire 3 = always approx 12 volts with ignition set to on or acc

wire7 = always continuity

Got this from the workshop manuals i have... hope theese pics help (sorry no colour)

wire 4 =BU +B

wire 3 = ACC +B

wire 7 = GND

Thjeese might be how the wires are labled.. or how the back of the original head unit is marked.
