Spare Key For A Yaris

Sorry if this a repeat of previous questions but just bought a 54 plate Yaris only one key. Have contacted the original dealer and he has told me the key number. Will this enable me to bypass toyota to get a key(no buttons-just an immobiliser) and will I need to program anything?

I'm pretty sure Toyota would need to programme the immobiliser - if you bought a Shell of eBay or something, you could get it re-programmed and re-cut - I know someone did that with my old key that I sent him..... :thumbsup:

***off topic, I really should know this but my immobiliser is a seperate fob, not actually part of the key, is this normal?***

Could be.... both of my P2's have had the immobiliser in the key fob but it might have been different for the P1?? :unsure:

Well im a P1 and I have remote central locking/immobiliser all in one key :thumbsup: !
