Help !

Does anyone have any ideas on this electrical fault?

Fog lamp on, warning light started glowing slightly without fog lights on (been like this for a while)

Now i have no fog lights or reversing lights, also when lights are on i have no number plate lights, put the car in reverse with lights on and the number plate lights come onbut no reversing lights, also the fog lamp on warning light now is lit fully whenever i turn the lights on.

In the schematic in Haynes manual, there is a diode(no 65) are these over the counter diodes, and is it something that can be easily changed.

Also is a better schematic of the lighting system available from anywhere.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Andy

I wonder if its possibly an earthing problem, have you checked all the earthing wires that go to the chassis are free of rust and have a good contact with the body?
