This is my Toyota Paseo si which i have carried out a Starlet GT Turbo engine conversion on. This is the first and only Gen 2 Paseo in the UK to have this engine conversion.

The car started out with the stock 87bhp 1500cc 5E-FE engine wich was replaced by a 135bhp 1331cc 4E-FTE engine. This was taken from a Japanese import Toyota Starlet GT Turbo front cut. With a number of mods the power has been boosted to 165+ BHP. The cars 0-60 time has dropped from 11.2 seconds to an amazing 5.54 seconds.

Being only 1331cc the tax bracket is kept low and the insurancs very cheap.

Standard Paseo Si radiator

CHASSIS:

That car looks BEAUTIFUL!!!! BUT the 0-60 time cannot be correct, GT Turbo's 0-60 is 6.9 standard and with the few mods youve done cannot be 5.54secs. i mean no disrespect but 5.54 is same as M3 e46 almost and not with 165bhp or even a little over i dont think its guna be possible regardless and sum1 on the GtTugboforum has 200bhp and possibly a lighter car and she is only pulling 6.1secs,

but im not trying to be funny, just thought id mention as ive saw your car a few tiems and thought WHOA looks wise and engine wise but 0-60 wise i was not convinced by unfortunately :-)

no hard feelings mate
