Anyone know what could be causing this,

the lights behind my fan speed switch seem to work until i turn the fan on/off and the lights go out, then a short time later re-light? not just a loose wire i dont think

its just a pain

theres electric everything, and it all works as it did the day it came out the showroom, (mon the toyota) except for one silly little light!!

Do you mean the light comes on by itself even if the switch is off?

I had problems with mine- sometimes working (when switch on) then cutting out- back on intermittently.

The bulbs were shot-the filament seemed to be contacting -probably going over bumps etc. as the circuit made it seemed to fuse the filament and work until switched off-filament cools down-contracts blah blah..

Just replaced the wee %$(ers....
