Toyota Yaris Dash and radio install

to take the dash out to fit a cd storage or a cd player

or a tape deck or radio first take the heater control knobs off

there is three of them when they are off take the

two screws out there is another screw on the

passenger side of the dash in the corner wonce all

three screws are out take the ash tray out press down

in side of it and it will slide out, in the bottom wear you have

taken the ash tray out you will see two more screws

take them out, now pull the top of the dash it will come

out just a little then you will see two more screws that hold the

radio in place take them out pull the bottom part of the dash is now ready

to take out, its very easy it took me 15 mins to do the job,i hope

this helps any one dave g7wgx.

from memory..... pull off heater knobs, unscreew screews hehind, hand each side of lower half and pull slighty untill the bottom is out, put hand on top of heater blower outlet and pull each side out, (it will only come out a little). then push unit in and down and out in one movement, unplug and put to one side. 4 screews one in each corner or lower section top ones you will see the bottom ones are behinde the the ash tray, (push flap down and pull out). email me if u have a problem
