can anyone here tell me if a 6speed manual from a 02 or 03 GTS celica (2ZZ) will fit to an earlier 3SGE block

Don't think so but still it is not a sensible choice. The original tranny of the 3s-ge is stronger. A good choice would be to swap it with an MR2 turbo tranny with lsd.

I am seeking the same info, the actual Group A article on the GT4OC states a 6 speed, once I have more information I will post again.

great, I also have seen a 6speed that comes on a 4AGE 20v, but I do not know if it is fwd or awd, comes in a corolla, 98 I think, maybe 99
