Prado Grande Satnav

Hi,

I have just purchased (and taken delivery) of the new 2003 Prado Grande. This is my first Toyota and 4wd car (previous was HSV) and I am both very impressed by the overall build quality and performance of the vehicle.

My question is simple, is there any way to disable the "I agree" startup message on the SatNav system?

What brand of SatNav system is installed in this vehicle? Can I add additional video inputs (ie DVD or TV tuner) as aftermarket options using the SatNav screen?

Toyota do not tint the front driver and passenger windows on the Grande. Is this because tinting the front windows affects the SatNav system?

Advise appreciated.

The 'I agree...' message on the satnav is part of the boot-up routine in the software, which is initiated every time you turn on the ignition. I understand what a drag it is to do every time but there's nothing you can do to avoid it. This is not the same as the system sensing vehicle movement and then disabling inputs, which it is possible to override.
