... no, not another how do you fit an aftermarket head unit thread !

I want to upgrade my T2 to have a CD with the head unit from a T3 - these available on e-bay (unless any kind soul has a spare lying around after an aftermarket upgrade which they would sell for a reasonable price ?).

Is it just a simple swap out and do I need to worry about the difference between a P1 and a P2.

Don't know about the P1/ P2 difference, but you may well find that they'll go for the same money on eBay, as you could spend on a decent aftermarket one, including the fascia and fittings.

Here's mine...

Ah, thanks. Looks neat. But don't you lose the OE display for the radio stations etc ?

I take it you have a tape player now and want a standard cd player, not an aftermarket one.

As you have a T2 it's the cd players with the square buttons

there's one on eBay now

You lose the radio station on the display, yes, but mine shows it on the headunit instead.

Still have use of all the other fuel info, etc, on there though.

Deagle, make me an offer on mine, well not mine but my brothers as he's looking to get a new headunit anyway!

His is a Phase 2 T-Sport so it should fit right in nicely! :)
