I used to do this on the Unity site...... what a waste of %$(in time, who cares !! it was first done for official vehicles and cars that were of importance....... then someone thought that ***** may 'copy' your plate for illegal uses, didn't really take off though did it, they just make up no. plates instead as its less of a fine to have a 'wrong/fake' plate than the trouble you get in by 'copying' a plate.

Plus it makes the pictures look !Removed!.

sorry rant over, one of those days.

Personally I think people using Club Plates on their vehicles is a superb idea, it makes the club look a lot more professional and shows the members are actuyally proud of being a member and car about the club their in.

John

No one is obliged to buy the plates.

many people perefer NOT to have their plate on display so we are giving members an opportunity to solve the problem.

What you have to understand is that when you take group pics and then post them on the gallery un-edited and I get an ear full from owners because there plates are on show from other people who attended and uploaded before editing
