Corolla Gti-16 Rear Trailing Arm Bushes

hi all my bushes have gone on both rear trailing arms....

Are they easy to fit or do they require pressing in ???

I couldn't tell you just yet, but I have some superflex bushes waiting to be put on in the next few weeks. I'm not fitting them personally, but I will be there when they go on, so I'll let you know how my mechanic mate finds them.

if its the ones on the arms then get superflex replacements

removal will then require the offending arm to be removed (lots of WD40 req)

then you have a choice, cut the rubber flange from one side of the bush ( junior hacksaw is ideal ideal) then drill a series of holes through the bush and then knock the remains out and clean the casing up or if you have access to oxy acetylene cut flange as above and then use torch to heat the housing till you get a good flame going leave for 30 secs and then tap out remains (very smelly / messy option but very easy)

if its the spherical bearing on the hub then its either hydraulic press or hammer and drift.

dawsey- Its the ones in the arms after i have got them out, what is required to fit the new ones in ?????
