Kn57i Mr2 To Corolla.. Can It Be Done?!

My mate is replacing his KN57i induction kit on his mk2 MR2 with an apexi. He's offered me the KN and I wondered if it could be 'modified' to be used on my 'rolla gti?? I realise that the 57i are car specific, however they can't be that different can they? We both have T-Vis engines. Cheers for any help
