I am looking for a replacement secondhand engine or cylinder head assembly for my 1998 Rav 4.

Could anyone tell me if I need one from the exact year, or if I can purchase one from another year?

I recently saw a picture of an engine from a 1997 version and it appeared to be a little different around the area at the top of the cambelt, but I have seen a picture of a 1992 Celica engine which appeared the same as mine.

Can anyone help with information.
