when i got my yaris i remember one of the points on the toyota website stated it had a re-enforced rood an pillars (to help stop the roof coming down on you) infact just found it on webby i quote "Head impact protection structure roof side and pillar".

well, i was sat in traffic earlier and i noticed that well, it doesnt, infact its no different to and other car......... oh well another excuse for a roll cage.

Only applicable to Phase2 Yarii's....................Phase2 was made with improved driver/passenger protection.

I am not wanting to get into a Phase1/ Phase2 argument ;)

 Is there really any point in gutting the insides of a car to save weight when the driver could do with loosing a few pounds :D ;)

Anyway, back on topic as you say...

the Yaris is a very safe car and I wouldn’t hesitate getting another one. I would like to know if the ‘New’ Yaris has 5 stars.
