hello just a couple of problems with the old car though the car has done 174000k it as full toyota history i have noticed the if i try accelerating the car fast it seems relly noisey and gutless i have had a compresion test done and it was good and clutch was changed at 160000 is there anything that i should check that may be the cause

the other is i noticed the the disc on the rear o/s is rusty and there is a thin line of shinny metal in the middle could this be a siezed caliper and can it be un seized and if so what kind of job is it.

take the motor for a drive first , use the brakes enough to get them heated , then jack it up and try spinning the wheels ,

the rear pads aint that big on the disc , the line may reflect the size of the pad on the disc any ways
