HELLO FRIENDS

JUST JOINED TOC ....I HOPE U GUYS WOULD HELP ME .I BOUGHT 1996 CARINA E GS THE OTHER DAY ITS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION THE ONLY THING IS THAT WHEN I LOCK THE CAR USING BLACK BUTTON ON THE FOB THE ALARM LIGHT APPEARS BUT IT DOES NOT FLASH EVEN AFTER HOURS(IT STAYS STEADY ALL THE TIME ) AND IF I OPEN THE DOORS WITH KEY,WITH OUT TURNING ALARM OFF , NO ALARM SOUNDS JUST THE LIGHTS START TO FLASH . AND IF I USE RED BUTTON ON THE FOB IT JUST ACTIVATE LIGHTS AND THEY STAY ON UNTIL U PRESS RED BUTTON AGAIN TO STOP THEM .

WHAT CAN BE THE REASON AND HOW CAN I FIX IT

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRICIATED
