Good cars 6 speed and red seat belts  does not have loads of power only 109 bhp and you will NEVER get and massive power gains out of one, unless you change the engine.

Think they go for about 3500-4k

Also, there very rare, and so you will probably have to wait for a while before you find 'the car'

They're becoming even more rare :crybaby:

The best car I have owned to date  May not have the biggest power pant in the world but nippy and fun all the same.

The 6 speed box was great, helping with the fuel mpg. The spec is good with spot on safety features! I like to think my old girl saved my life last week

If I find one it's mine so keep your hands off

Only joking...you see one..get it  or at least tell me.

Its quicker then quite few cars on the road. But its no Type R. Its the quickest Corolla that toyota did at the time in the UK.

what cars are they quicker than?

they will keep up with a 1.6 16v saxo...but i doubt you'd be able to overtake one :P

I dont agree mate. I had no problem with Saxo's A work mate of mine had a go in mine and he has a Saxo 1.6 16v and said the corolla was quicker. But I bet the gears help.

It wouldnt take much to make sure u left the french thing behind..

Even if the saxo is quicker thats all it has on the corolla.

Jap built or French built.. ?

?

Well i know what id buy... hang on ... i did....:lol::lol::lol::lol:

I'd have to say that I've been really pleased with my G6R. I have a black 99 job and never ever had an issue with it. Not the fastest thing in the world but it can shift. I love the handling and its a nice smooth car to drive. Quiet too.

I'm looking to get a facelift T sport. As soon as I find one I'll be selling mine. Theres already a queue but when the time comes I'll get some details and pictures up here.

Only thing is I live just outside belfast. I've come to accept that to get a Tsport it's going to be from the mainland. On the plus side my house is ten minutes from Belfast port and 20 from Larne.

Anyone see any nice facelift Tsports about for under 10,000 let me know.

Just a gentle reminder that if you want to sell on TOC you have to be a paying member

How would one fair against a standard AE92 GTi?

ive had my G6R for nearly two years and i cant fault it, if you looking for a 1.6 16v medium car then its spot on as its a bit different from the already mentioned saxos fezzas 306s etc, i quite often have people asking me what it is and telling me how nice it looks and how its a bit different (including an offer to buy earlier this week) it looks good out of the box, goes quite well for its size and retains some value over "normal" corollas (i hope) fuel economy is pretty good too depending on your driving style, i can get a solid 35mpg over a whole tank and thats includes cruising on the mway at well over the speed limit and some b roading etc. theirs a lot of faster cars out there but when was the last time you saw a G6R on the road?

if you want a better looking car to 'tinker' with you could do worse than a GXI just as rare. 119 BPH 'new' but now a lot less bph i guess and i got mine for £500. with a ****** engine ;) NO RUST. GXI for looks :D hybrd 1.6 GTI, 1.8 engine for power and fun :D (well thats what mines will/is going to be!)
