Central Locking Installation (yaris)

Hello. I am considering to install a central locking system to my Yaris (2000). The price for this at Biltema is only 64 euros (for 4 doors). So, is it difficult to remove the door panels? If somebody has got experience in this please share your knowledge with me!!!

Old thread, but same problem.

I bought a cheapie remote central locking kit http://www.a1electric.com/images8/ke68.jpg [not the exact one,but same components) for my 2 door manual locking Yaris.

I've been quoted on average £50 per door to get it installed, which seems a tad ott, so I have a friend who isn't qualified, but is quite good with things like this, apart from the obvious 'join the color coded wires' bit (although I think he wants to know where exactly the black 'ground' wire goes), does anyone have any tips/advice regarding the opening of the panels, and I guess theres some drilling involved as well?
