Hi, I am thinking about buying a Corolla in the new year.

I want the 2000 model as it has the quad headlights and I want 6 gears.

Could anyone possibly tell me the different engine spec's for these types of Corollas?

Thanks

The engines are 1.4 petrol (95bhp), 1.6 petrol (109bhp), and a 2.0 Diesel (90bhp).

HTH

Not sure if they made any 6 speed versions of the facelifted version though - never come across one if they did :)

I'm pretty sure the 1.6 SR was 6 speed :bookworm:

One of the best bits of the car IMO.

Could anyone please tell me the difference between the VVTi, G6R, SR, and any other engine specs? :help: :)

Thanks all for your help!

Thanks all for your help!

The G6R was limited edition, only 420 (i think) were brought to the UK, only come in Black or Red...

The SR was in the facelifted Corolla after the G6R, and featured the VVTi engine instead of the 4AFE, both are 109 BHP, and both have 6 speed, Performance is similar on both, 0-60 in around 9.5 secs, 120ish flat out
