Cancel Engine Managment Light

I have an issue with my car in that it is waiting the fitting of a new oxygen sensor. (again, third one to go, at least there is only one left to blow!).

While I wait for the Toyota garage to get the sensor in, is there any easy way to cancel the engine managment light on the dash (short of removing the bulb!)

NEVER remove the bulb, a mate of mine bought a car, it wasn't running right after a while, no light, then the engine blew....... not good

goto toyota, or an auto electrician and get it done properly, after you've done the sensor.

If you extinguish the lamp, ie clear the fault, it will only come back on again if there is actually a fault there after three starts of the engine or sommat like that.

search on eBay or internet, can get universal one for £20 or oe fitment for about £50
