Ct9 Turbo Feeds

What is the config of the CT9 starlet turbo, I am hoping there are some CT9's that are only oil cooled (not fed with water). Is this true?

I think all the CT9's are water cooled. If you want to turbo a 5E with a CT9 you'll need a thermostat housing from a 4E-FTE Starlet turbo - this should bolt straight on.

There are other turbos which aren't water cooled, but have a different mounting pattern to the CT9.

They both return to the thermostat housing mate.

You will also need an oil filter re-locater from the 4EFTE as it has the oil feed on it and move the oil filter out the way of the turbo. Then you will need a sump for the oil return line.

I've got a 4e-fte manifold. I've got a turbo but you wouldn't want it.

WTF!! Sawn in half?

The manifold I went to look at was cracked, along with the cylinder head it was attached to. But I now have the thermostat housing/water feeds.

Fancy sorting me out that manifold sera?

Was it intentionally sawn in half?

Did they think it was hiding some illegal contraband

I've just ordered some audio gear from the US....hope the monkeys don't need to saw that in half...

yes, they sawed it in half rendering the turbo scrap, believing it was full of drugs (it was coming in from Jamaica)

I managed to claim compensation from Customs though.

I'll dig out the manifold on Monday for you.
