With the simple mod's below what's everyone think the BHP & Torque will be??

Standard Power - 105 (BHP)

Standard Torque - 107 (Lb/F)

Answers below..

PS... I'm not expecting more than 5% - 6%

I'll guess somewhere around 115 and a slightly higher figure for torque.

From memory, Miss Tsport got about 119 on a recent dyno test with a new HKS filter and back box.

Good luck.

Yep - i did get 119 and posted the pics of the test a while ago.

This was with a HKS zorst and Induc kit. want to get a re-test now that I have removed silencers and added an ecotek valve

Be interesting to see what you get.

With induction kits your almost certain to lose some low down torque but may gain a little higher up the revs. BHP will increase but its only likely to be the Peak value rather than across the full rev range as induction kits really only come into there own once moving and up to speed.

An enclosed or CAI is always best for increase over the entire rev range rather just peak power increases.

Cant wait to see the graph tho!

Id guess about 8-10bhp increase, maybe less in the summer ;)

Just remember tho that its how it drives on the road that counts, not peak dyno figures.

no date yet... need an afternoon off work ASAP.

I think i might have the lighten flywheel 1st.

Flywheel will only make it rev more freely

and lessen the torque.Might as well get it done now

Not forgetting the lose of speed on hills.

Hi oli

Well i think the way it goes is you will lose on torque. As the flywheel is lighter. But you will gain on bhp as the engine can spin more quickly. The engine needs the weight from the flywheel to give the engine torque.

I think thats how it goes but I'm no mechanic mate. Need to get advice from yarispot. He's the mechanic mate. Come on dan lets here your 50 pence worth mate

Hi oli

NO! NO! dont let it put you off mate. Like i said I'm not a mechanic so I'm only guessing what i think what will happen mate. You really need to speak to someone who really knows about this matter.
