The P/S light has come on; on the dash. The steering has become more tense. I've checked the Fluid level which is fine.

I'm aware that it could be the pump. I don't think it's the rack as the car still drives fine.

Is there a power steering belt that could have snapped ?

Is it still safe to drive ??!!

Thanks !

Its most likely the relay in the power steering ECU. You might be able to unstick the relay by switching the ignition on and off about 10 times before starting the engine.
