Camry Starting Problem

I have just replaced the heater fan on a 93 2.2 manual Camry. When I try to start it it fires first time, idles for 3 - 4 seconds then dies. It will continue to do this, if I put my foot on the accelerator the engine will only rev to about 2000rpm before dying. Starting/running has never been a problem before, I am guessing that my big mits and gung ho approach to car maintenance has damaged/dislodged something behindthe glove box. Any ideas...............

The engine computer is behind the glove box. Have you omitted to reconnect a plug fully?

Spot on thanks.
