hello all

over the last week i have noticed my car has been going through fuel like anything. my driving style has not changed and am only doing milage i do every week.

i have not smelt any fuel and have looked in the obvious places for leaks.

it's just puzzling why it's using so much.

can anyone enlighten me or give me any possible ideas what may be causing this.

many thanks rick

LOL

TBH i don't go fast i leave that to when i go on motorway on the mainland (though never above 70)

one, here on the island you have plod living in hedges

two ,the roads are so crap that if you do go fast you can't keep control or unfortuatly like whats happened a few weeks ago a lot of people getting injured or worse.

three, the car has done 177k and really don,t want to kill the engine.

anyway i don't mean any offence

cheers rick.
