Does anyone know if the standard 2.2 D4D on the new Rav4 can be bumped up to the 180bhp?

Is it the same engine electrically controlled?

Sorry if this is answered elsewhere, i tend to live in the Corolla Section and ventured out. :yes:

i am sure you can bump it, but it is not the same engine. It shares a lot of common parts, but common rail is different, turbo is different, injectors, glow plugs, compression, etc, etc.

It is definetly not the same engine simply bumped up, far from that.
