Simple answer. get back into bed and go to sleep. Sorted. Or... You could stumble over to your pc all bleary eyed, switch it on, Wait for everything to connect and tell the world.

I had a similar experience once.

A bright light would shine into the bedroom, waking me up. Then it'd go out. This went on for weeks. I was waiting for a Taxi too, but it never came. I wore a path in the carpet from running to the window to see what it was, but the light had always gone by the time I got there.

The 'Most Haunted' crew were keen to feature me on one of their shows at one point, until the sound man pointed out that it was probably the Lighthouse in front of the window that was causing it.

If you are woken by someone shining a light through the window there's a new invention that some people are using to great effect. ................
