1997 Camry Power Window Dead?

I have a 1997 4 cyl 4door car and my drivers side window gets stuck. You have hear the window motor making noise but its not moving. after restarting the car a few times i got it to work. then i'd bring it down and it got stuck again, or wouldn't move. all other windows work fine. any ideas? is the motor dying? have anything to do with heat? Battery? power, cables?? thanks

sounds like the wire cables are slipping.

maybe the cable is lose

mine on the passenger side has come off the runner

your window just might be out of line with the mechanism holding the window inplace.
