There's been one of these in High Wycombe for a couple of years. They have been around a while, blue with a red porthole for the camera.

But I think these are to replace the yellow ones .. probably when they go back to hiding them again.

Arent these just bog standard Truvelo cameras? they take a piccy straight on?.. and have a 'red porthole' as aforementioned.. cause they have infra red cameras hence no flash?

Yeap they've been on about these for years. Few different designs, but even forward facing cameras rarely actually get a good enough shot of the driver to ID them.

I suspect they've decided to push them now as too many people are escaping persecution by naming people that don't really exist etc and they want to put the wind up a few and force them into incriminating themselves instead.
