Hi, just a quick question, is the Ts carpet the same as the other variants??

ah the previous owner had pets or something, theres a foul smell in it and its been worn all the way down.

i'm lookin at finding out if the carpet is the same in all the yari and replacing it or go to a local car interior specialist and have them do something with the interior.

We have a Yaris SR in the family and went through three carpets within the warranty period. The last one has been good for a few years now -they supposedly changed the backing material on the carpet because that many were wearing through.

The carpets on the TS are different because as you say they have a clutch rest, dont think any other models have one do they??

thanks people, makes that decision easier, found one place that has it from a breakers..but they won't send me a picture of it, only worry that it could be naff and i got no come back then..so looks like im gonna find out if the local car upholsters place can do me somthing

That breakers sounds a bit poor if they're not even willing to send you a photo of something I imagine will be difficult to sell otherwise. I would buy it (depending on the price) and then even if it is crap you have a template for anyone to make a replacement carpet around ;)

New carpet is £280 from Mr T, i got mine a while back still not fitted it though, it seems slightly thicker now, just like in my mums P2 TS

I got mine from Mr T in poole. Phone around as many as you can and see if the price varies. Remember you only need the front section, they might be trying to sell you the rear section which is of similar price and is for the boot which i doubt you need.

okay help people, i got my cabin carpet from toyota lexus specialists...but when opening the parcel..ive ended up with a grey carpet and im told that this is only carpet that was fitted to the yaris t-sport, now i think someones messed up coz all the pics ive seen of T-sports have black cabin carpets!

Are they pulling my leg or what?

Doesn't sound right to me, have you got photo's of your current black carpet to present to them? As far as I knew all Yarii came with black/very dark grey carpet

ive got my old out of my car..can take a pic and send it to them....but they are claiming toyota gb only has one colour listed.. a light grey interior carpet, but i have seen x amounts of yaris t-sports with the same carpet as myne..a black one!
