Corolla 2002 - Guide To Fitting New Speakers

Hi all,

I just spent the whole day re-fitting my car with 4 new Speakers. I had blown both front and rear right Speakers, so was getting sound only from the left, which was very close to blowing too. They were crackling anywhre past 25% volume!

I'd been searching online for a few days for an idoiots guide to re-fitting Speakers in the new Corolla, but to no luck!

So guess what? I've gone and written up one myself.

Guide includes how to take apart the door panels and a brief guide to installing the new speakers. Unfortunately, I dont have any web hosting so, if you would like a copy (it is in Abobe PDF format), PM me and I'll email one over to you. Or if someone is happy to host the file for others, feel free to PM me and I'll share it with all!

Now, back to my car for some unnecessary driving and EXTREMELY loud music!!!

instead of smashing the old Speakers up I would suggest that you use the adaptors that autoleads make. they say on the box "to fit yaris" but they will also fit a corolla E12

Just to say a big thanks to atikali200 for spending the time and effort in producing this guide.

I've been wanting to upgrade my Speakers for a while, well today with the help of this guide, I upgraded all 4 Speakers in less than 2 hours.

Without the guide, I would still be on doing it :)
