Gen 7 Trd Pieces

Im going to have a look at a Gen 7 190 on Tuesday hopefully in Lagoon Blue. And I have a few questions regarding TRD Parts.

1. Can you order TRD Parts throu Toyota Dealers? Or is it only TTE Parts?

2. Is the Gen 7 TRD GT Wing still made/avaliable? Seen it on a few websites, around £450. Does it come pre-painted in standard Celica colours?

3. TRD Exhaust and/or Manifold. Heard its the best... but about £1k for the whole package. But how load is it? Mainly cause the car will be used for a bit of tracking from time to time and I'd like to keep it under 100db!

Think thats all for now. Any useful sites that sell TTE/TRD parts would be great. Cheers.

1. Not sure if all dealers can deal with TRD but some certainly may have a contact - but the usual places are specialists like ENVY or FENSPORT or WHIFBITZ

2. They will come in standard un-finished form ready to be painted.

3. NO IDEA!

For TRD try ENVY site (look in their forum on this site)

Alrite, got those 3 Specialists on my list already! But that confirms they are the main 3.

Thats cool anyhow... now I know the main places to deal with.

Semi Related to this topic of mine:

Seriously considering TRD Parts only all around, or near enough.

S:

TRD Sports Air Filter

A sports air filter born from racing engine development technology

An air filter that delivers the most basic, critical functions of ingesting air, removing dust, and supplying fresh air to the engine. By modifying the technology used in racing engines, running under the harshest conditions and putting the results to work in a commercial product, the TRD Sports Air Filter has achieved the smooth air intake and cleaning effects demanded by high-rev engines.

Only about £50. Im sure its not as noisy or as good as a Blitz Intake or simlar. But surly this will clean up and be better than stock?

TRD Rear Tower Bar

Do TRD do a front Brace?

you might see 1 hp with the TRD filter, probably just as good to get the K&N. Personally thou depends what you want I would rather go with a SR or CAI.

TRD only do a rear strut bar not a front one, but you can get TRD "Sportevo" undersways F&R think they are blue in colour.

Intake I have looked at Blitz SUR and K&N Typhoon Kits. So really £200-£250 on the intake.

Maybe Il wait and work out what is best.
