Airbag Deployment

Hi There -

Apparently, the Verso's knee aibag deploys at impacts above 25km/h.

I feel this a bit 'slow' to sustain knee/upper leg injuries and also adds an expense to a repairable vehicle crashing into something at that speed.

Does anyone know at what speed the other frontal airbags deploy? I know this also depends on the rigidity of the object impacting.

Let me answer my own question. Since I recently side-winded a mini-bus at about 30km/h.

No airbag deployed and there was no need for it either. Deployment thresholds are obviously calculated on the rigidity of the object struck.
