Well chaps & chapess's - I've made the next step to realising my dream - it's took me 3 years to get this far.

On Wednesday I ordered a spanking K6 GSX1300R Hayabusa.... It's arriving to my door next Thursday - Allready got the TRE restrictor kit to disable the top speed limiter.... the bikes a 9 second qtr mile machine in stock guise. For the spring i'm looking at fuel management, full race cans and perhaps a 50bhp nitrous shot to get her above 200mph on a runway flyer.

Then there's talk of turbo mod's to get it up to around 250bhp and later with more power a long swing arm as the 07 season progresses.

So all my celica's are gone, no more pantsing around with nitrous or turbo's on cars for me - i'm now in the real deal.

here's a pic of the machine in my collours;

hers a few spec figures for you;

1299cc, 4-stroke, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 16-valve, TSCC

Displacement: 1299cc

Bore and Stroke: 81.0 x 63.0mm

Fuel System: Keihin/Denso Fuel Injection

Compression Ratio: 11.0:1

175BHP @ 9,800 RPM at the crank

Top Speed 200MPH derestricted

:P

Awesome. Mate's just got one after selling his 7/11.

I'm with Ed though - TURBO!!!!

For a turbo, I'd highly recommend Holeshot Racing (Bradford) - Mr Jarred "Jack" Frost is a legend!
