After reading about photo enhancements on the BBC news website, I clicked on the link to one of the software packages... it gives you some before and after photos...

Tell you what, it makes me feel so much better seeing the likes of Sigourney Weaver & Teri Hatcher in their true photographic colours - there's hope for us all! :D

lol I'm not very photogenic, even at 24 - I hate photos of myself and always wished I could look like so-and-so celeb...

But now I see what Davina really looks like, I dont feel so bad!
