Oxygen Sensors Failed Again

My Toyota dealer diagnosed my engine warning light today as all four Oxygen sensors needing replacement at a cost of £920. Apart from the horrendous cost, I'm worried about the fact that two sensors were replaced in May 2005 and have now failed again. Does this indicate some other underlying problem which keeps killing Oxygen sensors?

The engine is a 2.4 petrol in a 2002 Previa.

Any ideas what could cause repeat failures of Oxygen sensors?

FOUR oxygen sensors????????? Most cars have one, unless they have more then one downpipe!

It could be the wiring that is failing, apart from that, burnt engine oil can make them mis read...

they should last for at least 60k miles a pop!
