:ffs: I have just gone out to my car to get something out of the boot and the remote would not open the car. Completely dead. The key will open the doors but as soon as you open the door the alarm goes off. Shut the door and lock it with the key it is okay. have tried both sets of keys and the problems is the same with each set. Have nicked the mother-in-laws car to go to Halfords to get new batteries and that has not resolved the problem. I am now having to lock and unlock the car manually but am not able to put the alarm on. Has anyone any answers.
