Grinding Noise

hey guys, recently i have notcied my gen 6 GT making a grinding noise when on full lock, its coming from the passenger side front, also with the car stationary i can move the passenger wheel back and forward, has the hub gone and if so where can i get a cheap new or 2nd handone, any help is greatly appreciated.

I think it may be the CV joint.

sounds like a wheel bearing to me mate, jack the car up and see how much play you get, i.e wobble the wheel backwards and forwards, side to side etc. if there's movement there its probably the bearing, c.v joints tend to click more when they let go. might be worth getting it too a garage if you aren't too handy with the spanners matey :)

hey guys, cheers for the help, i done what u said mik 666 and as you said there is alot of play, so would i just have to replace the bearing or the full hub? once again thanks for the help

just try the bearing to start with mate, best to eliminate the cheapest options first eh! by the sounds of it that should be all you'l need to do.

A wheel bearing would make a noise all the time, not just on full lock.
