Changing The Battery On An Ae111

Just been to change to batery on mums ae111 corrolla and ive noticed the alarm sounds when you take the positive off the old Battery.....is there anyway to stop this..or will it stop itself after a few seconds..i dont really fancy a deafing while im trying to change the Battery!

the buzzer shouldnt sound if you take out the dome fuse first, make sure before you disconnect the Battery that the remote doesnt have a red button on it, i'm pretty sure that they never fitted this alarm to e11's but if it does then disconnecting the Battery can cause the alarm to lose its frequency, and i'm not sure on the procedure for those alarm
