Anyone Fitted Aftermarket Mirrors?

not fitted any but Im after a set of these original toyota mirrors which are an optional upgrade in japan

damn i mite need to get those mirrors next time i go hong kong :D or even get a relative to get them for me. 2800 dollars is bout £200 which isnt bad, but i think their only covers arnt they? u dnt need to replace the whole mirror

£200 seems allot for just covers. I would expect a whole unit at £100 a each.

well i mite b going to hong kong sometime next sure, but not for definete. As for fitting them, how would it work? bcos it would need another wire to lead to the indicators rite?

it would look good if the led white lights are on with sidelights then change for signal however it wud be complex wiring?

toyota japan also have set set of mirrors that fold in automatically when you lock your car, and fold back out when you unlock

seen a few chrome mirror covers for the corolla on eBay with integrated indicators. Would it be possible to paint over the chrome to the body colour of the car?

genuine toyota mirror cover's too expensive you be crazy to buy these at that cost.

these will fit but you be crazy to buy these at that cost.

both set of the mirror cover's above are simple direct replacement from your corolla mirror cover's and you only gain the led indicator's and thats it ,they do not alter the shape of mirror's at all.

i had these chrom cover's in my hands few month's ago,they dont seen to me they will fit our UK corolla's mirror's so i didn't buy them but IF they do fit no reason why you cant paint them.

if is only led you want on your mirror's the cheapest way to do this is buy a set cheap chrom mirror cover then take the led bit's off and cut a hole in your own mirror cover and then glue the led on the hole then repaired all the gap with body filler sand it down and painted it will look 90% as the mirror's cover above but nowhere near as expensive i may be doing that next summer.

i quite like the evo mirror's if they fit i might go for a pair has to be electric and not costing over £100 otherwise i am not touch it .
