I don't know anyone in London though Knowlson should be able to help you there.

I had mine done by Kevin Clarkson at S&M Services in Droitwich. 15 years an independent Toyota specialist and someone who has done lots of these type of jobs previously - including 4agze into AE111 (mine - job can be seen at www.ae111sr.co.uk) 4afe 20 valve into ae111 (Kevin's) 3sgte into ae111 (Kevin's again) 4agze into ae92 (several) and he has worked on Fensport's cars. You can get him on 01905 778368. He's reliable and dependable (said mine would take 3 weeks and that's what it took). I'm happy with mine

thanks alot. Yeh i have heard of Kevin before, i know he has worked on many toyota's already. I was just wondering if anyone knew any specialists in London....cos i dnt want any cowboys near my car.

how long have you had your superchager? how much did the conversion cost you? I know Kevin charges about 1000 just to fit, is that rite? Were there any problems after the conversion was done? Whats the maintence like? What sort of things would i need to look out for?

Your advice is appreciated....

Kevin is a sound chap.

He bought my Corolla GTi-16v off me. He also know's what he's on about..

if you went to kevin then all you need to do is have the engine or front cut sent to him drop your car off and pick it up when its ready.

personaly i would rather travel to get a good job done than have it done localy by a cowboy

as said before kevin knows his stuff and does a damn fine job. the attention to detail is exellent. i was well impressed with johns conversion (ae111sr)

yeh i have heard of TDI in Barking....i have spoken to them and I think they are very expensive. They couldnt give me a price for the conversion, they just said it would be 70 pounds an hour plus VAT. Also they have never done the supercharged conversion for the AE92.

I know Kevin has a really good reputation but just like Knowlson says he is very far. I will still probably get it done by him though.

Knowlson what was the name of the garage you went to in London, and where bouts is he based? did he do a good job? what sort of prices? Did u get any problems after you recieved the car back?

I took the easy/quick route - a48 a449 m50 m5. It's about 180 miles round trip and takes me about 1hr 45mins each way (mainly due to raod works on a449 and m50)

That's 180 miles round trip so 90 miles each way taking 105 minutes thats an average of 51.43mph. Nowt suspicious about that
