Has anybody ever put a gen 3 3S-GE in a ST162 in place of the Gen 1? Is it a simple conversion? will the Gen 1 ecu cope with it all?

I'd like any advice/tips, as i'm hoping to do this early next year.

You need the rev 3 3SGE ECU and loom. Simon (Celicauk) from Celica Club UK did a rev 3 conversion on a ST162 a few years ago. It's pretty straight forward with a bit of work needed here and there to gt it to connect up.

Try Celicatech aswell.
