had a ring round as usual, but only direct line would insure it. hadn't thought of fluxy though. But as direct line lowered yhe price by £8 to £292, i went with them again. :group-cuddles:

is any of the levin, curren or sera drivers coming to the haynes meet in september :meet:

as i am intersted in them now. can't remember seeing any of these at the JAE (saturday), but i'm sure i missed it because it was in the shadow of the rear wings of all the max-power muppets

I am going to try and be at the september meet.

i think the most unusual cars are the Mitsuokas.

They have been for sale on eBay.

Another more unusual Van has appeared on Yahoo auctions.co.jp

Its a Hiace (1990)version that is still being built as a Regiusace but

this one is fitted with the front of a VW split screen Van!

How about a Toyota Century ? I've got a 91 4.0 V8 in near mint condition- only aware of 1 other that was imported for the Japanese Ambassador.

Does anyone know of any others ?

My WiLL VS is probably one of the rarest imports, there are only 4 in the country

3 blue ones and my silver one. I believe mine is the only one with the 190 BHp engine. The others being either 1.5 or having the 1.8 VVT with 140 BHP

190 BHP VVTLi

Tiptronic

19 inch Khan's with 235/35/Khumos

Century? The ambassadors was on eBay a few weeks ago, although the buyer

was not genuine but it went for 8,000 pounds. There are thousands of them

in Tokyo. They are still being built, there was one on show in Amlux last August

This thread is about UK spec & grey imports by reading the various posts? If u mean this corona Coupe isnt a import was not sold in UK, so not a official import but grey import.

Judging by the picture I think it is really a Celica notchback.

Toyota just slightly changed the front and rear of the car and

called it a corona coupe

This link will go straight to the Mitsuoka website

Mitsuoka

Its in japanese but it is quite an unusual website.

Most of the donor cars are Nissan although the white car

Nouera is a Honda Accord.
