This has taken me about 20 min’s to post but I’m trying to save you some money.

i-trip are pants, they pick up any signal that is stronger ( Local radio,CB radio and sometimes mobile phones), the i-trip stations are loaded onto the i-pod and if you use random play you get the screech of a signal because it counts them as a track, the quality ain’t that clever and they basically suck.

I might still have mine in a box somewhere unless it was thrown out during our alterations, not that I’m bothered though, I think they are that bad. ;)

I use an aux in cable that fits nicely into the back of my headunit....can you not get something like that for your headunit? Sound quality is much better than the fm transmitters and you can plug any mp3 player in.
