My 1995 corolla steers left as if the tracking was out despite the wheel alignment having been checked three times.

Problem has been around for a while, not certain exactly when it started.

Tyres are new, suspension arms and joints ok. Problem may be in the steering rack. Aparently there are gromits (?) in there which can wear leading to this. Does anyone have any experience of this?
