Engine Warning Lights

Posted this in yaris forum aswell just thought there would be some more knowledgeable people here!

Right went to octagon toyota today as engine warning light came on and they did one of there £50 diagnostic checks

And they said that P0125 - Incorrect coolant temp for closed loop fuel supply.

Right they said it was nothing serious and reset code and light was off, 10 mins later light came back on again.

So i ring them back up and they say they will need car in for 1 day diagnostics check to look at sensors!

God knows what that will cost so anyone got any ideas?

Thanks for the reply, read through the post its quite technical!

From reading and knowing that we have had alot of floods lately and i have a low lying induction kit could i have picked up some water and caused some damage, so it may be something to do with air filter, MAF sensor?
