Speedo Not Working?

TRDcelica

Can anyone help me out here,

I've just got in my 95' Celica 2.0 GTI after a hard days work only to find out that my Speedometer isn't working.

The car drives fine other than me not knowing how fast I'm going.

I'm hoping this is some sort of electrical problem and can be easily fixed or found.

Could anyone help me to find out where and what to look for?

Thanks.

Im pretty sure there is a fuse for the speedometer.

Best to check your manual because i doubt its anything big thats gone wrong.

hey join the club ever since we got the heat wave the speedo in my celica is gone hay wire when i drive it in the morning when its cool the thing is fine. but when the car is left in sun and the heat builds up and then you drive, it goes to about 10kph and gets stuck so i started parking it in the shade during the day and it works perfect. werid or what

I have same problem with mine 1995 GT. This probably happens because the car hs been clocked. Best solution is to but a TRD 300km/h speedo and replace it.

The mechanics stemed my engine recently to look for oil leaks & after the speedo did not work (I spotted it, they did not)

I took it back and they said it was condensation which they sorted staright away.

No problems NOW.
