Question About The 4agze Gearbox

Hi ppl, I've been offered an 89 toyota levin 4agze gearbox. Does anyone know whether this one comes with an LSD or is it the later levin 92+ that has the LSD??? Abit confused as Fensport sell non LSD 4agze gearboxes!

I "think" that the LSD was available in both boxes - available as an optional extra maybe or maybe only on certain versions (just guessing at that). I know the box I had from Fensport came without an LSD and they swapped it for an LSD box.

Well the place where i am buying the gearbox from says that all the supercharger models come with LSD's, but when i went on the fensport site i saw they were offering the boxes without LSD's. Maybe they remove them from the boxes, im not too sure.

If it's got driveshafts on it, turn them, if they both go the same way, it has an LSD, if one spins forward and one back, it's an open diff.

any way of doing that without the driveshafts? They are not on the gearbox.

Afraid not. The only 4A-GZE Levin/Trueno that had a LSD as standard was the 91-95 AE101 GT-Z.

They're wrong, they need to do some research before they say things like that.
