Poor Starting 2001 Camry

I am having problems with cold starts on my 2001 Camry with 30.000 miles. After sitting 10 hours or more it sputters for 10-20 seconds and then either catches or stalls. It has been doing this for about 18 mos, worsening in the last 6 weeks. Only once has the mechanic been able to reproduce it, this after sitting overnight at the dealer. The check engine light was on about 3 weeks ago, and so far they have replaced the fuel injectors, central computer, and spark plugs. The problem has only gotten worse, but since they cannot reproduce the problem and the check engine light is off, they say there is nothing more they can do. Any suggestions? The vehicle runs fine after the initial start.
